Ibiza · natural henna
Warm brown henna, mixed by hand with lemon and essential oils, drawn on the beach, at the villa or in the studio. No black henna, no PPD and no shortcuts that leave a scar.
Real henna is a plant. Mixed with lemon juice, sugar and essential oils, it stains the skin a warm reddish brown that deepens over 48 hours and fades in one to three weeks. It is one of the oldest body art traditions there is, and it is genuinely safe.
Black henna is a different product. It is henna paste with para-phenylenediamine, a chemical dye added to make the stain darker and faster. It is the reason people come back from holiday with blistered skin, permanent scars and a lifelong sensitivity to hair dye. We do not use it, we do not keep it in the studio, and we will happily explain why to anyone who asks.
Hands, feet and ankles take the deepest stain. Backs and arms fade faster because they are washed and exfoliated more often.
Most of our henna work happens away from the studio: bridal parties getting ready, a villa full of guests who want something to do before sunset, hotel activations and markets. We bring paste mixed that day, cones, wipes and aftercare cards, and we work clean and quick.
For groups we recommend booking at least a week ahead so we can bring the right number of artists. Designs can match the event colours, a logo or a theme, and we can prepare a small menu of designs so guests choose fast.
Henna is not a tattoo and it is not permanent. Anyone promising a permanent henna tattoo is selling you something else.
Studio appointments for detailed work, and henna on location for villas, beach clubs, weddings and markets.

Natural henna paste yes, and it is one of the reasons parents book us. We always do a small patch test first on children and on anyone with sensitive skin.
Between one and three weeks depending on the area, the paste time and how much you exfoliate. Hands and feet keep it longest.
No. Henna stains the top layer of skin and fades as the skin renews. It is temporary body art, and it hurts a lot less than a needle.
After the paste comes off, yes, but the first day of sea or chlorine will shorten the stain. Try to keep it dry for 24 hours.
Never. Black henna contains PPD, a chemical dye that causes burns and permanent sensitisation. If you see a stall offering black henna in Ibiza, walk past it.
Yes, that is most of what we do in summer. Send the date, the location and the number of guests and we will come back with a plan and a price.
Planning a wedding or an event? Message us with the date and the number of people and we will send options.
Natural paste mixed fresh, designs drawn freehand and a stain that looks like it belongs there.
